What to Do Before You Call

Warning: Use Extreme Caution - Treat All Down lines/wires as live and energized.

  • First, check your breaker panel or fuse panel and any outdoor disconnects to make sure the outage is not due to a tripped breaker or blown fuse.

  • Next, check to see if your neighbor’s power is off and contact us. This will help determine if the problem exists inside your premise or is a result of a power outage on utility lines.

 

Important Notice: If a lineworker responds and the outage call is not related to Hyde Park Electric distribution lines/equipment, you will be charged for the full cost of the response.

If the line is busy, call (802) 888.1732. 

After business hours, call (802) 888.1732.

  • Never attempt to move limbs or branches from any lines.
