Welcome to Hyde Park, Vermont

Established in 1895, the Village of Hyde Park boasts a rich history as a chartered New England Village, serving as a hub for local governance and municipal utilities.
Situated strategically within the Green Mountains, along the scenic shores of the Lamoille River, and adjacent to the Rail Trail, our village is in close proximity to the pristine Green Mountain Reservoir, nestled beneath the towering Mount Mansfield.
Conveniently located midway between Stowe and Smugglers' Notch, and just an hour from the Burlington Airport, Hyde Park offers a prime location for residents and visitors alike.
Hyde Park extends a warm hospitality that includes exceptional local food, craft beer, year-round recreational activities, and a variety of accommodation options such as historic bed and breakfasts, scenic country cabins, and home rentals.
Hyde Park is a great place to live, work and visit. We invite you to discover the unique charm of our village soon!

Elsa French Park
Donated to the Village by the children of Dr. Edward B. and Elsa French, the Elsa French Park is being developed into a safe and accessible public gathering space for the entire community.
